Shopping Centers

Cencosud's Shopping Center division is in charge of the multiple shopping centers the company owns both in Chile and Argentina. Their market strategy is to be in places were many people converge as well as offering a great variety of shops available for its customers.

The division is organized around three departments.

Development
This department is in charge of analyzing project feasibility and purchasing plots of land.

Shopping Center
This department is in charge of the shopping centers that are already operating and it is responsible for marketing future developments.

Projects
This department is responsible for transferring plots of land, building on them, planning the works and handing the shops over to the lessees as well as making sure everything in them works perfectly.

Shopping Centers in Chile

Currently, this division runs Alto Las Condes, Florida Center, Portal La Dehesa, Portal La Reina, Portal Viña, Portal Rancagua, Portal Temuco y Portal Valparaíso shopping centers, which add up to about a million square meters available for leasing.
